Helen studied for several years at the Northern College of Acupuncture and Middlesex University to gain a BSc (Hons) degree and is now a Member of the  Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC), BAF Member Organisation Registrant, and holds a local authority licence to practice. Helen runs a busy clinic in the historic market town of Richmond.

Upon gaining her, degree Helen began her career in a small studio room three days a week. Working hard to build her reputation and client base, she has recently achieved her dream of opening a clinic within the heart of the community that is Richmond, North Yorkshire.

Reflecting on her client base, which is predominately women this has helped Helen develop a higher level of expertise in treating women's health.

She now assists and works closely with women who seek advice and treatment for fertility issues, IVF support, menstrual health issues, natural conception, pre and post-pregnancy care, menopause, and other female-related health concerns.

She is impassioned about acupuncture, and what it can provide. Helen believes acupuncture is much more than just applying needles it is a deeper understanding with an individualistic approach for all who seek help with their health concerns.

Helen continues to work hard to provide a safe and calming space for those who need to unburden their worries, speak openly without judgment, be listened to with care and acceptance.

Having taken further training she is now an FEA Practitioner providing facial acupuncture treatments for those who seek a natural alternative to cosmetic interventions such as surgery and chemical treatments.

In her spare time, Helen volunteered several times to work in a remote Tibetan Monastery Clinic.

Working alongside Tibetan Monks to provide pain relief treatments to the Nepalese Community.

Helen gained further insight and knowledge of how effective acupuncture can be when treating extreme health conditions, some of which, are no longer seen in the UK.

In her free time, Helen enjoys spending time with friends and family.

She enjoys getting outside and is often walking or running in and around the Yorkshire dales.

Having trained as a chef, she will often return to that skill set to provide nourishing and occasionally naughty treats for her loved ones.
